can find one of the most agreeable places of the area: the Quinta do Lago
Silencioso ("Silent Valley Farm").

This Project, connecting tourism to environment, was born in one of Europe's
best preserved coastal areas. Quinta do Lago Silencioso is a agro-tourism
project based on an environmental philosophy present in all the spaces and
activity of the farm. Everything was conceived so as to put people in
harmony with the surrounding space.
The farm is a romantic place where man's presence is perfectly adjusted to
the rhythms of nature, in a relationship based on respect and fruition, two
principles prevailing over this project. We find peace and silence, so often
necessary to our well-being.
Quinta do Lago Silencioso is the ideal place to rest, a calm and cosy place,
where people feel like calmly observing and feeling nature. The house faces
a lake of natural springs that spreads through the landscape, calling for
contemplation. Thanks to its strategic and privileged location, it is possible to
see both the Monchique Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean on clean days.
SPACE DIVISION
Wishing to provide our clients with utmost quality and well-being, we
organised the space so as to guarantee maximum privacy.
The patio, with a view to the lake, is the "heart" of the house. It's a
common access ground to the guest house and the owner's house,
simultaneously divide the two places. This privileged space is often used to
have breakfast, to read, rest or simply to loose oneself if the pleasure of the
surrounding quietness.
The guest house has three suites, two living rooms and a kitchen to be used
only be the visitors. The space is versatile; so it is possible to convert one
of the suites in a niece and cosy T1, with a living room and a kitchnet.
For those wishing to be more isolated, there is also a T2 independent from
the main house, which comprises a big room and a smaller one, a living room,
a kitchen and a bathroom.
Privacy, well-being and quality are our proposals to an accommodation we
